Brothers Brett and Jason, who run The Oppenheim Group, appearned on a UK morning chat show, Good Morning Britain, over the weekend, where they confirmed that Selling Sunset will deffo be back for season four.

The twins said that filming has sadly been delayed due to COVID-19, but “we can expect we’ll be moving forward as soon as possible, but filming is very difficult now here in LA… everything has been delayed.”

We’ve got everything you need to know about when and what to expect from the new seasosn…

Christine says it’s ‘definitely going to get picked up’

In an interview with Grazia, Christine Quinn suggested that Season 4 was deffo happening, but it had been delayed, saying “unfortunately it has been affected. So usually we get picked up after the show airs, you know, we’ll hear some information, some rumblings… I think we’re definitely going to get picked up. But everything has been set back due to Covid”.

She also added “we’re going to shoot next year now, I’m hearing. We have such a big production there’s so many people on our crew. I don’t think we’d be filming this year”. She also said in an interview with Women’s Health, “I was told that they don’t pick up the next season until after they see the numbers of how well the show’s doing, but obviously, you know, we’re in the top ten, and that’s really, really huge, so I’m sure that they will pick it up, and it’s only a matter of timing”.

Will Tarek El Moussa be in Season 4?

Since the ending of the filming Season 3, Heather Rae Young has become engaged to HGTV star Tarek El Moussa. Their relationship has been speedy, and Tarek proposed on their one year anniversary. Tarek has his own career with TV shows such as Flip or Flop (9th season coming this month!), but he’s certainly no stranger to real-estate or reality TV, so we think this co-starring could be totally on the cards.

Chrishell says there are ‘endless opportunities’

The show’s creator, Adam DiVello, said in an interview with The Los Angeles Times that he loves how the season ended – no spoilers here though, we promise!! Speaking of the ending of the series, which concludes with a scene featuring Chrishell, he said “I love the solitude of it and the way it was situated with the windows looking out of the whole city. This is a girl we’ve followed all over the Valley, and now she’s propped up in the hills, as if she can see everything ahead of her”.

Chrishell added “it symbolises so much, I think that viewers will be able to see that as well. I’m wondering, ‘what’s out there? What’s this going to turn into?’. I don’t know what my future holds, but there are endless possibilities now that my plan has completely changed”. Chrishell also gave hope for a new season in an interview with Women’s Health, saying “the show has been a breakout successes”. “I have worked in TV long enough to know you need to be grateful for the successes because they are so rare. So, although it’s too early to say what my role going forward would be, I can say I’d be shocked if the show did not continue”. Us too, Chrishell!

Mary Fitzgerald thinks that’s it’s got the green light too

In an interview with Women’s Health, Mary Fitzgerald said of a Season 4 “I know the people that I talk to – Heather, Chrishell, Amanza, Jason and Romain – we’re all up for the fourth season”, adding “I can’t speak for the other girls because I don’t really speak to them”. Sassy!

Maya Vander might be staying in Miami though

In an interview with Cosmo’s editor in chief, Maya Vander suggested that she could be staying in Miami. The fitness enthusiast revealed on our podcast, the Big Beauty Broadcast, that she doesn’t know if she will be invited back for the fourth season, because she doesn’t know if she brings enough the drama.

The mum-of-two also drops hints that a Selling Sunset Miami sounds like a good idea. Does this mean they are already in talks with Netflix about a spin-off? Kourtney and Kim Take Miami but make it real estate?

What does Netflix have to say on the matter?

On 10th March, Netflix announced that a fourth season is officially being commissioned, unsurprising because there really is *no* other show like Selling Sunset. And what’s even better is that we’ll most likely be watching the new season this summer! In an interview with The Radio Times from January, Mary Fitzgerald said, “I think everybody can expect to see a season four probably and hopefully in about six months.” AKA July, which is super close.

Has the cast begun filming yet?

Good question – yep, the Selling Sunset cast began filming once again over the weekend of 8th May, broadcasting this news all over socials.
