Let’s add this in the category of *collaborations we didn’t know we needed*. Vanessa Hudgens and Madison Beer have collaborated to launch Know Beauty, their own skincare brand.

While the collaboration may appear to be a bit random, both the Vanessa and Madison have struggled with acne and other skincare issues. They first met some years ago, when Vanessa’s younger sister, Stella, and Madison became friends. The two bonded over their shared desire for more effective skincare, and the rest, they say, is history.

Vanessa told Harper’s BAZAAR U.S that they were looking for an easier way to approach skincare, one that “allows you to know what is right for your personal skin, because it’s different for everyone.”

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill celebrity beauty brand, either. You can take a quiz and a DNA test designed by Kagha to create the best experience for yourself and avoiding the need for trial and error. (that sounds pretty efficient)

The gals also hired dermatologist Karen Kagha as the brand’s Chief Medical Officer.

The Dhs350 test examines 46 chromosomes and 7 genetic categories. This will help you understand your skin’s sensitivity, elasticity, pigmentation, and other factors that will help you determine which skincare products will work best for you.

Three cleansers, moisturizers, night serums, face masks, eye creams, and a hydrating lip mask are included in the collection. The products include tried-and-true skincare ingredients like retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, peptides, and more. You can sleep peacefully knowing that your night cream is Leaping Bunny certified and cruelty-free.

Most products are priced between Dhs100 and Dhs150, which is quite reasonable. If you’d like to give it a shot, you can do so right now by ordering a DNA test or buying the products from the Know Beauty website

If a DNA test and quiz aren’t your thing, you can still experiment with Know Beauty‘s products. But, of course, having that knowledge is priceless, and in the end, we all want to know that what we’re putting on our faces is going to work.
