Watching Kim Kardashian’s streams of Kanye West’s Sunday Service on a Sunday evening has become something of a weekly ritual, and they just keep getting better and better. The Sunday Service Choir is a gospel group lead by Kanye and choir director Jason White. They first performed back in January 2019 and they have performed every Sunday since (minus the weeks of the pandemic) – that’s some serious dedication! The services are ‘nondenominational’ and Kim described them as “more of a musical experience” and a “musical ministry”. The services are full of energy and moments which can only really be described as breath-taking; we’ve put together some of the most musically magical and stunning Sunday Services. Get ready for sure-fire feel good vibes!

The most recent Sunday Service

This week’s Sunday Service took place in Atlanta and saw the choir wearing duck-egg blue set against a stunning backdrop of a secluded lake. We’re not sure what stage placement trickery we’re looking at but it definitely looks like the choir are floating upon this misty lake amongst some perfectly placed white doves. Truly magical.

The Sunday Service when North rocked it

Back in March 2019 the internet went into overdrive when then five year old North stole the show with her sassy dance moves. She showed her attitude in a black feathered dress, lace-up combat boots, black lipstick and sunnies perched on her nose whilst shaking her shoulders with friend Haidyn – the real star of the show!

The Sunday Service at Coachella 2019

Kim K’s first time at Coachella was super special as Kanye took his Sunday Service to the festival to celebrate Easter. The biggest festival in the world was filled with a sea of lilac-clad singers against the backdrop of green rolling hills and Kanye even bleached his hair purple for the occasion.

The first Sunday Service post lockdown

With the pandemic stopping gatherings, Sunday Service was put on hold over the summer months. On August 17th Kim shared videos of a dramatic gospel performance held on the top of a mountain top in Wyoming, with all singers dressed bright orange and socially distanced. Kanye shared a moving video of him playing the piano alone after the service with Kim dancing with Saint, which he captioned “We would like to thank our staff for making sure all Covid safety guidelines were followed today during Sunday Service at our West Mountains family ranch in Wyoming”.

This major jam-session with Brad Pitt

In a scene which is very much pre-covid, The Sunday Service Choir showed up in Watts, Los Angeles to perform the Sunday Service. There was also a special guest in attendance as Brad Pitt showed up to show his support to the occasion as well as sisters-in-law Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.

This performance by the children’s choir

In addition to the main Sunday Service Choir, children are also seen being part of the performances, sometimes with the choir or separately (a la North West). On this occasion the children created their own choir, all dressed in cream, and performed Prince’s Nothing Compares to You. Saint, Penelope, North and Reign can all be seen taking part, as well as North’s best friend Ryan.

When Lil Nas X turned up

After the success of the stunning Coachella performance, the Sunday Service Choir recreated the performance on another set of hillsides creating a similar backdrop to the dramatic landscape at Coachella. Lil Nas X also joined in the action too!

The Sunday Service at Paris Fashion Week

Kanye has always been passionate about a multi-discipline life, telling his followers that we are in a ‘renaissance period’ where subjects can overlap more. This year he combined his passions of music and fashion by taking his Sunday Service to Paris Fashion Week for this amazing piano based performance.

So, how do we get an invite?
