The Kardashians finally dropped on Hulu and somehow managed to be pretty compelling despite the fact that we know literally Every. Single. Detail. about what’s going on in this family’s collective lives thanks to endless tabloid articles, social media, and drama. But if you were left with some questions about exactly how the show compares to IRL events, we went ahead and started a timeline to keep track of everything. Things we’ve discovered thus far? Not everything is being filmed in order, for starters.
EPISODE 1
Lunch With Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé
September 28, 2021
Kay, so this sister lunch was filmed on September 28, 2021. We know this because paparazzi pics were snapped the day of and everyone was wearing the exact same outfits. FYI, this is the lunch where Khloé told Kourt she spoke to Scott Disick about not being invited to the family brunch and where Kourtney told her sisters about Scott’s DM to Younes. Which, incidentally, Younes was exposed on August 31, meaning this lunch took place just about a month afterwards.
The Family BBQ/Day 1 of Filming
September 23, 2021
Kourtney posted a photo of the first day of filming in October 2021, but thanks to those aforementioned pap photos of the sisters’ lunch (where the BBQ was discussed), we know it actually took place sometime in September.
A quick scroll through the internet shows that the Daily Mail wrote about Kim posting “Day 1” filming updates to Instagram on September 23, so it stands to reason this is accurate because Stories are usually more reliable than grid posts.
Kourtney’s Interview About Travis
October 23, 2021
If Kourtney’s Instagram grid can be trusted (which it probably can’t because she didn’t post the first day of filming on the actual first day of filming, LOL…), she did her on-camera interviews on October 23, 2021. This includes footage where she calls Travis her “boyfriend,” so if it *was* October 23, she was actually already engaged at the time.
Khloé’s Tristan Interviews
November 11, 2021 and January 20, 2022
After an embarrassing amount of time spent sleuthing, we found the exact outfit Khloé wore for her on-camera interview early in the episode, where she said, “Right now, Tristan and I are just friends.” Based on outfit vibes alone, it appears to have been filmed on the same day as Dream’s birthday party, aka November 11, 2021.
However, you may have noticed that both Khloé’s outfit and her description of where things stand with Tristan changed later in the episode when she said, “Tristan and I currently are not exactly together.” Based on her grid, this interview was filmed around January 20, 2022, so the show is definitely being edited with footage spanning several non-consecutive months.

Kravis’s House Hunting
October 12, 2021
Based on more outfit sleuthing on Kourt’s Insta, we’ve determined that she and Travis visited a potential house (and made out in front of a traumatized real estate agent) on October 12. Evidence incoming:

October 6, 2021
Kay, so based on the turtleneck Kim is wearing in her scene with Amy…
This scene was filmed on October 6. How do we know this? Because SNL dropped a pic of Kim doing a table read wearing the same look:
Kim’s Interviews About SNL Prep
October 7, 2021
While some of the Kardashians’ on-camera interviews seem to have been filmed way after the events they’re discussing, this isn’t the case with Kim’s chat about SNL prep. Based on her plush purple turtleneck, she appears to have filmed her on-camera interviews the same day that she filmed her actual SNL promos, October 7:
Khloé’s Appearance on ‘The Late Late Show’
September 27, 2021
Kay, here’s where things get out of order. While the rest of the family’s content from this episode was filmed in October, Khloé’s Late Late Show appearance went down in late September:
Travis’ Sweet Phone Call
The Week of October 11, 2021
We’re still not over how cute Travis’s call to Kris and Khloé was, and based off a few convo details, we know it took place during the week of October 11. First of all, Travis himself mentioned he wanted to propose to Kourtney on the 17th, and on top of that, Kris mentioned “next weekend.”
Kim’s SNL After Party
October 10, 2021
Technically the party took place on October 10th since SNL airs so late, and the paps were definitely there.

Khloé’s Appearance on Ellen
Circa October 14th
This one is slightly complicated. Khloé’s Ellen episode dropped on October 21, but we know it was filmed before Travis’ proposal on the 17th (since she and Ellen talked about it) and Khloé seemed to imply the proposal was about three days away so….let’s say this was filmed on the 14th?
