Remember back in August 2021 (me neither) when you were minding your own business and then Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Younes Bendjima hopped on Instagram to leak his DMs from Scott Disick? It was the best of times, it was the most awkward of times, and now it’s finally being addressed by Kourtney herself on Hulu’s new show The Kardashians. And apparently, she fully texted Scott to call him out—and revealed exactly what was said.

But before we get to that, a reminder that Scott‘s DM to Younes was a picture of Kourtney and Travis on a boat in Italy, along with the message, “Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.”

So, how did Kourtney feel about it? Not great! But the good-ish news is that Scott is the one who told her what happened. “When I was in Italy with Travis on our summer vacation, I woke up to a text from Scott saying, ‘I am so sorry. I DMed your ex-boyfriend who I can’t stand,’” she explained during The Kardashians (per Us Weekly). “He sent me a screenshot of it and said he posted it on his Story. Then I wrote to him, ‘This is despicable.’ Your actions need to match up with your wanting to be a part of this and act like it. I was in Italy and he was DMing Younes. Then I was like, ‘That’s not really the vibe. Don’t go DMing, my ex-boyfriend.’”

Kourt later spoke about Scott to her sisters, saying “For so many years Scott has gotten away with bad behaviour and has still been invited and I don’t think that is going to continue. I will continue to live my life and pretend that no one is watching.”

For what it’s worth, Scott also apparently had a moment to chat with cameras during the show’s premiere, saying “It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically but now it has become a huge adjustment losing her as sort of a best friend. Now we are really more co-parents. I would say it is probably one of the more difficult things in my life. Kourtney has all [the] right to despise me for the way I treated her because it was horrible. Like that wouldn’t go on today for a day. But it went on for years.”
