Hold your horses, Swifties and Marvel fans, because rumours about Taylor Swift joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) are growing
Insider Daniel Richtman recently spilled the tea on his Patreon page and said that Marvel Studios is cooking up a ‘Blonde Phantom’ series for Disney+. Guess who’s in the running for the lead role? Yep, none other than T-Swift herself.
Picture this: a 1950s Las Vegas setting with Taylor as Louise Grant Mason, aka Blonde Phantom, a savvy secretary-turned-spy and crimefighter.
How ICONIC would that be?
While Marvel hasn’t officially dropped the news, sources are buzzing that an announcement is approaching.
In the Marvel Comics world, Blonde Phantom is a total boss babe. She’s got no superhuman powers but relies on her sharp mind, athletic skills, and fierce fighting abilities to kick butt.
She initially teamed up with her PI husband, Marc Mason, to solve crimes and has been a staple in various Marvel storylines, rubbing elbows with legends like the Human Torch and the Sub-Mariner.
But wait, besties, there’s more! Taylor’s MCU debut has been teased for a hot minute now. She reportedly had a “good” meeting with Marvel President Kevin Feige, sparking rumors that she might also appear as The Dazzler in the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ flick.
Since the tease, Ryan Reynolds hinted at plenty of surprises for the film, which hits theatres on July 25 in the UAE.
Tickets are yet to be on sale but will premiere at VOX Cinemas, NOVO Cinemas, Roxy Cinemas, and Reel Cinemas.
