From Sheikh Mohammed chartering planes to fly personal protective equipment to London, to Rihanna and Blake Lively donating millions of dollars to coronavirus relief, many celebrities and brands have all been helping in the fight against Covid-19.
And this week, Sonia Ben Ammar took to Instagram to share some more positive news. The French-Tunisian star made 100 masks to donate to retirement homes.
“I really recommend you do this if you need masks (I used materials I had at home). They’re not medical masks but they are perfectly safe for every day use & can be washed (sustainable!!),” she wrote.
This isn’t the first time the signer has stepped to help raise awareness and encourage people to #StayHome, Sonia also took part in the #DoYourPartChallenge, where she teamed up with food delivery service DoorDash to provide gift cards for meals to people in need.
