Just In: Red Sea International Film Festival announced that the Egyptian cinema icon Yousra will be receiving the GOLD YUSR Honorary Award at the opening ceremony of the Festivals’ second edition on the Eastern shore of the Red Sea and we couldn’t be more excited for her.
The festival will honour British director Guy Ritchie, the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, and Yousra for their outstanding talents and contribution to the film Industry.

Taking place from December 1-10, they will present 131 feature films and shorts from 61 countries in 41 languages from established and upcoming talents.

Egyptian actress, singer, and megastar Yousra is an cinematic legend and is one of the most recognizable names in the region. She’s been on the screen for more than 50 years. Starting from the 70s, Yousra starred in some of the important films in the history of Egyptian cinema and then appeared in about 100 films. Her roles in film and TV are trailblazing, continuing to influence generations to date.
