Queen Rania celebrates a golden milestone today as the royal tums 50 today.. And while well-wishers may not be there to celebrate in person, the royal has already been greeted online with hundreds of good wishes from members of the public.
In an exclusive interview with Hello, Her majesty says every year her wish has always been for “more time with my husband and kids” – and of course, this year has been different because of the pandemic – the Queen says “time is all I’ve had!”
Queen Rania met then, Prince Abdullah of Jordan when she was 23-years-old, their engagement was announced two months after they met and royal couple got married in a traditional Muslim ceremony on 10 June 1993.
“On my birthday [this year], as long as the people I love are nearby, and they are healthy and safe, I could not possibly ask for more,” she tells Hello.
