Paris Hilton announced in January that she had a baby boy with her husband Carter Reum via surrogate. This week, the 42 year old iconic reality star has finally announced the name of her son: Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. The ‘Simple Life‘ star announced the name on her podcast This Is Paris on Wednesday 22nd of February. She revealed in her upcoming memoir “Paris”, coming March 2nd, 2023, that she thought about the name 10 years ago.
“If all goes well, by the time you read this, Carter and I will have a baby boy. We plan to name him Phoenix, a name that I decided on years ago when I was searching cities, countries, and states on a map looking for something to go with Paris and London. Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more importantly, it’s the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again…I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives. And that this should give us great hope for the future.”

Paris Hilton’s tribute to her late grandfather
Paris Hilton also explains that her baby boy’s middle name Barron is a tribute to her late grandfather, saying that he has been always her mentor in her life.
“I really wanted to honour him by having his name in my first son’s name”, she shared on her podcast.
Wholesome photos of the three of them were released this week, including photos of Paris Hilton kissing her little baby boy while he’s wearing a onesie as well as photos of Reum kissing Hilton’s forehead while she’s holding the baby on her shoulder. Hilton shared some vulnerable words about her baby boy saying, “From the moment I laid eyes on him, my heart felt so full. I feel like my life is so complete now. I always wanted to be a mom”.
