Welp, Max Ehrich still doesn’t seem 100 percent over his very public breakup with Demi Lovato. At least that’s the vibe coming from a TMZ video of him sitting in the sand seemingly crying in front of paparazzi at the beach where he proposed to Demi. In said video, Max can be seen talking on the phone, wiping away tears, hurling a piece of seaweed into the ocean, and doing what appears to be praying—and honestly we’ve all been there! Maybe!
But Demi’s fans are…not impressed. Like, people have A LOT OF THOUGHTS, none of which are particularly sympathetic:

As a reminder, Max claimed he found out about his breakup in the tabloids and has since been very, um, forthcoming about their relationship on Instagram. Meanwhile, Demi straight-up released a breakup song and is reportedly acting like she was never engaged to Max. Like, a source legit told Us Weekly she “has been acting as though she was never engaged to Max and that their relationship never happened. She is still not speaking to him and fully cut him out.”
