Love Island 2021 has begun, and that means the fan theories about what exactly will go down this season have started too.

Viewers have already predicted which couple will win the show, after seeing just one episode, and now they’ve decided on the contestants who’ll form this year’s favourite friendship duo.

In previous years, we’ve seen villa friendships become just as, if not more, important than the actual couples on the show – from the iconic trio that was Anna, Yewande and Amber, to Chris and Kem’s bromance.

But which pair of pals are set to become our faves this year? According to Love Island viewers on Twitter, it’s the first two girls to enter the villa together: Kaz Kamwi and Liberty Poole, and fans are already loving their friendship.

Though we haven’t seen much from the contestants yet, episode one saw Kaz and Liberty coming up with a plan to get Liberty to talk to Jake Cornish, who she’s currently coupled up with, and viewers are here for the girls supporting each other.

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the new friendship, with one writing, “Only good thing to come out of day 1 in the villa was Kaz and Liberty’s friendship tbh”.

Meanwhile, another compared the girls to previous contestants Amber Gill and Anna Vakili, writing “There friendship is gonna be as strong as Anna’s and ambers [sic]”.
