After the fallout from Casa Amor, we didn’t think Love Island could get any more dramatic. But after the latest episode – which basically consisted of one enormous fight – we’re ready to admit we were wrong.

The chaos began after a night at the movies when the Islanders were shown various clips of each other’s behaviour during the Casa Amor period.

Millie Court had to sit through a video of her partner Liam Reardon sharing a moment with two Casa Amor Islanders, while the girls – in particular Faye Winter – were fuming after watching clips of Jake Cornish appearing to encourage the boys to be unfaithful in Casa Amor.

However, the biggest controversy of the night was Faye’s explosive reaction to the clip of Teddy Soares flirting with Clarisse Juliette.

After spending pretty much the entirety of the episode shouting, Faye officially ended things with Teddy, saying, “Regardless of what was shown [in the clip], and what was said, I kind of […] I know my worth, and for me, this is… This is done.”

When Teddy asked what he’d actually done to make Faye feel this way, she replied, “You had a connection with Clarisse…You didn’t trust sharing a bed with her.” He then said, “I’m less angry about what you saw, I’m angrier with the way that you’ve reacted.”

It’s fair to say that while most viewers could understand why Faye was angry, they were pretty unanimous in deciding that her reaction was wildly disproportionate.

Author Bolu Babalola tweeted, “I actually believe Teddy must love Faye because I would have walked away from someone screaming at me within 3 seconds,” while another viewer said, “Realising we just watched an hour of Faye shouting,” and one person pointed out that, “everyone was rooting for [Faye and Teddy] less than 24 hours ago.”
