The queen of Love Is Blind Habibi, Safa Al Juboori, just became everyone’s big sis.
It’s no lie that Safa has been everyone’s personal favourite since the show was released last year. Like the class, maturity, and emotional intelligence? She’s basically everyone’s dream older sis (not projecting, by the way).
Aside from excelling in her demanding job, being the ultimate wife to Mohammed Kiswani, she always makes time to create some pretty heartwarming content for her 194,000 followers.
And her recent reel about confidence just cemented the fact that she is simply the queen to follow.
Sharing her top three tips for owning yourself and being the confident woman you need to be, she first revealed that she, too, struggled with this. “I used to doubt myself, and I was always worried about what others thought, and was afraid to take up space,” she candidly said on Instagram.
“But I realised being confident isn’t about being perfect; it ‘s about believing you are enough,” she advised.
Her three steps, which may be easier said than done, are a foolproof plan to starting your self-confidence journey.
“Speak up even when your voice shakes.”
It’s no wonder that Safa is an amazing speaker. When the show was released, everyone immediately sensed her confidence just from the voice alone. Maybe that’s why Mohammed, her hubby, fell for her right there and then
“Stop seeking validation.”
We couldn’t agree more! She previously posted advice about self-love being a necessity. Girlies, you don’t need any external validation. All you need is yourself. She said before on a reel, “Self-love is not selfish. In my experience, gratitude and sweet talking the words to yourself is very important.”
“Carry yourself like the person you want to be.”
Big sis Safa just dropping the biggest life advice will always be on our bingo card. We’ve heard of the saying, ‘Fake it till you make it, it’s not about literally being fake (it can be obvious, hun); it’s more about how you can be the best version of yourself no matter the place.
