Love is Blind season 4‘s finale has just aired and we’ve loved watching each couple’s journey, no matter how different. One of the couples that viewers were apprehensive of, Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin, actually said ‘I do’ at the altar (surprising many). Let us break it down for ya.
Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin *deeply* connected in the pods at the beginning, but Kwame was initially stuck between choosing Chelsea or Micah. In the end, Kwame proposed to Chelsea, she said yes, and the couple went on their honeymoon to Mexico. TikTok picked on Netflix’s editing and ~thought~ that Kwame wasn’t actually in love with Chelsea.

It kinda became a ~meme~ that Kwame didn’t love his fiancé, which is why viewers doubted the pair. However, after the finale aired and the couple got married. The groom took to his Instagram with adorable behind-the-scenes images of the couple and a cute caption.

Kwame Appiah speaks out on the viewers’ opinions on his relationship…
“All of this content was taken during our engagement when the big cameras weren’t on us. We got to enjoy life, and communicate, in the ways that feel most natural to us. Just a quick response to anyone saying “they have no chemistry”, or “they don’t even love each other”.. based on what you saw, I don’t blame you for thinking that. But actually, we had the MOST fun together falling in love!” Kwame stated in his caption. We kinda ship the couple now, ngl.
Chelsea Griffin also took to her IG stories to let her followers know that the internet is a “hurtful place”. She made it clear that she and her castmates aren’t “characters to slam and shame”.
