As of October 25, the public prosecution declined a bail request for the Kuwaiti influencer Fatima Almomen. The influencer has been sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment by the Kuwaiti court for manslaughter along with other charges from the misdemeanor court for running a red light and speeding.

As of September 6, a lab report has reportedly shown that Fatima Almomen, involved in a fatal car accident which caused two deaths, was not driving under the influence of drugs. According to sources, a lab analysis confirmed that no drugs were found in the Kuwaiti fashionista’s car.
Currently, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has decided to “imprison Almomen for 10 days as a precautionary measure pending investigation, and to refer her to the Central Prison in preparation for her transfer to the competent court, and to release the vehicle driver’s escort.”
According to sources, the Public Prosecution denied a request for Fatima Almomen’s bail.
As of August 30, footage of the fatal car crash involving Fatima Almomen has officially leaked on social media.
Kuwaiti authorities are currently investigating the leaked CCTV footage as they are “very keen to preserve the confidentiality of the procedures, to preserve all evidence and proof related to the case, and to take into consideration the feelings of the parties’ families in all cases and incidents.”
In the footage, Ms. Almomen can be seen jumping the red light and crashing into a law-abiding vehicle. The 30-year-old social media influencer faces up to 10 charges, including driving under the influence and manslaughter.
As of August 29, Kuwaiti fashion blogger Fatima Almomen was detained after a car crash with three people dead and one injured, the Ministry of Interior of the Gulf nation reported.

The statement from the ministry states that the two-way took place on Thursday night, August 24th, in Kuwait. The white Bentley Fatima was driving was severely damaged, as seen on photos from the scene.

The four people who were involved in the car crash were transported to the hospital. Three of them lost their lives.
Security camera recordings showed Fatima Almomen running the red light.
It was also determined that the injured driver and passenger were operating the vehicle under the influence of “intoxicating substances,” driving at an excessive speed, and running a red light, which led to the accident, Khaleej Times reported.
