By now, we know that Kourtney Kardashian is the queen of spectacular pregnancy-related announcements. Just last week, at her husband Travis Barker’s blink-182 show, the KUWTK star announced her pregnancy to the entire audience by recreating a scene from the band’s All The Small Things music video, in which a fan holds up a “Travis, I’m pregnant” poster.

As expected, the couple’s gender reveal was no less ~iconic~: Keeping on with the ’90s vibes, Kourtney Kardashian posted a DVD-esque Instagram video in which she sat on her husband’s lap as he played a suspenseful drum roll on his drum kit, after which strings of blue confetti burst into the sky. It’s official – the couple is expecting a baby *boy* !!
The baby boy is Travis and Kourtney’s first child together, but he isn’t the first boy in the couple’s blended family. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker each have three kids: Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick, in addition to Landon, Alabama, and Atiana Barker.
Kardashian Barker has always expressed her commitment to being a mother, often being criticized for her stance on motherhood. As a stay-at-home mother, Kourtney indeed values quality time with her children over long working hours. “My biggest priority is being a mom,” shares Kardashian Barker, “and I already feel spread too thin.” The workaholics, sister Kim Kardashian included, weren’t particularly fond of Kourt’s perspective.
Kourtney’s devotion to her children hasn’t gotten in the way of her entrepreneurial success, though: her lifestyle brand Poosh and her wellness gummies brand Lemme have amassed considerable support worldwide.
Kardashian Barker’s happiness in her current marriage with Travis is all the more heartwarming given that she’s had a turbulent relationship with her ex-husband Scott Disick. Under her gender-reveal Instagram post, fans expressed that they “haven’t seen Kourtney this happy ever since she left Scott.”
Surrounded by the ~man of her dreams~ and her beloved kids, we’re so happy that Kourtney is living the family-oriented life she’s always valued.
We can’t help but wonder if the couple has already chosen a name for their baby boy.
