Remember a couple of weeks back Kim Kardashian posted some lockdown pics strutting down her hall wearing a cut-out crop top and mini skirt combo with a super long braid? Of course you do!

She has now taken to Instagram to tell her followers about the black-owned brand who designed the outfit, and the brand’s founder, in a rare non-sponsored shout out.

JDB Jolie by Dia, was founded by Saudia Islam in 2017 and is a “luxury, knitwear clothing line”. They describe themselves as “a brand that is introducing modern and creative ideas to a traditional concept”.

Kim posted a pic in the JDB two piece, captioning it “I wanted to tell you guys about a black owned brand that I love. @joliesaudiaa owns and designs all of the knit wear @jdbapparel. I love her stuff, check her out! JDBAPPAREL.COM”. Saudia Islam’s personal Instagram account had around 1,700 followers at the time, which has rocketed to over 10k in 24 hours (do we call this the Kim K affect?).

All pieces, including the $275 (Dhs1,010) ‘Zenith’ set worn by Kim K, are made to order with a 14-16 day timescale. The capsule collection is crafted from fine knit textiles, and all pieces are handmade.

Kim also wore the ‘Ion 2.0’ crop top to celebrate Scott Disick’s birthday in lockdown, which is now available for pre-order.

Needless to say, the vast majority of pieces on the site are now out of stock, with pieces back ordered up until the 30th July. We predict JDB Jolie by Dia is a name to remember!
