The first-ever Elrow XXL will take place in Dubai’s Design District – which can accommodate more than 10,000 people, on February 17, 2023. The long list of famous DJs and artists includes the multi-talented actor, singer, and DJ Idris Elba, aka DJ Big Idris.
Idris is most recognised for his work as an Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor who has been in numerous notable filmmaking and television shows. He’s also a popular DJ and a frequent performer at some of the greatest music venues across the world.
Last year, he was also invited to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The heartthrob’s renowned El Traingulo de las Rowmudas stage will be featured in the Dubai edition of the international music festival and outdoor carnival, in addition to a variety of other visual and musical attractions that have wowed crowds in 34 different party capitals across the world.

He often performs at some of the greatest music festivals in the world, including Coachella, Sound in LA, Output in New York, Ministry of Sound, Creamfields, and Glastonbury in the UK. He also has a residency at Hi Ibiza alongside techno music pioneer David Guetta.
Greeting his fans in the city, Idris says, “I love Dubai. And I love playing Elrow shows. I’m looking forward to this one a lot!”

Elrow XXL is known for its visually stunning and flamboyant props, costumes, and performing dancers, and the Dubai edition will feature a pirate ship backgrounded against vistas of the Dubai canal, symbolically capturing the wild and adventurous spirit that animates the festival.
Apart from Elba, the festival features a long lineup of highly sought-after DJs and artists who will perform over the two days of the festival, including Armand Van Helden, Sam Devine, Sonny Fodera, Alisha, Arielle Free, R3WIRE, Wade and Chelina Manuhutu.
