Dropping on September 18th, the new season focuses on Georgina‘s fabulous new life in the Kingdom, after the big move in Dec. 2022 when her superstar footballer husband Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr FC.
Since the move, Georgina has been soaking in the Saudi scene, living the high life, and embracing all the culture her new home has to offer. From her experience with the local culture to her blossoming career in the region, the new season reveals her true feelings towards the country she now calls home.

We broke down Georgina Rodriguez’s thoughts on Saudi life in season 3 of I Am Georgina
Rodriguez admits she was ready for a change of scenery when Ronaldo signed his contract to play in Saudi Arabia. After their time in Manchester, moving to the Middle East felt like the fresh start she needed. “I was happy Cristiano signed the contract,” she says at the start of season 3.
Season 3 offers us that long-awaited glimpse into Rodriguez’s thoughts on life in Saudi Arabia. When she describes their family vacation to the Red Sea in one of the new episodes, she beams, “It’s paradise in Saudi”. One of her favourite rituals is enjoying morning coffee by the sea with Ronaldo, marvelling at the tranquillity of the place. She reveals in the show that she was thrilled to discover that it only takes two hours from their home to reach the stunning Red Sea coastline. GOALS. 😍 “The water feels biblical because this is the same water Moses parted,” she reflects.
Connecting with nature at Red Sea becomes the family’s favourite activity in Saudi. During their time there, Georgina notices how her children are becoming more aware of their parents’ fame. “They’re starting to realize that we’re not just like everyone else,” she says, referring to how life in the public eye is beginning to shape their children’s understanding of the world. However, she ensures that Saudi offers them a place to still enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like spending quality family time by the water.
One of the most exciting moments of season 3 is Rodriguez’s visit to Al Ula. “Al Ula is a magical place,” she says. “It’s super silent, it absorbs your energy and gives it back.” It is “the most beautiful place she’s ever seen”, she says, feeling deeply connected to such a remote location. Rodriguez was particularly impressed by how well-restored the historical sites were, feeling a sense of peace and awe as she explored the area.

In the new season, we also see Georgina receive a special gift—the opportunity to leave a permanent imprint of her hand in the historic area of Al Ula. This symbolic gesture resonated deeply with her, as it allowed her to leave a lasting mark on a place that she felt profoundly connected to.
Shopping in Saudi Arabia has also made a positive impression on Rodriguez, particularly the malls in Riyadh. “The shopping malls here are really nice,” she notes in the show. Designed with families in mind, she appreciates the balance between luxury and functionality. “You’ve got it all,” she says. Whether it’s planning a romantic evening, a fun day out with friends, or spending time with the kids, the malls offer a range of experiences for everyone.
Georgina’s time in Saudi Arabia has clearly been transformative. As she continues to embrace her life in the Middle East, she’s showing the world an important side of Saudi Arabia—one that is full of warmth, beauty, and opportunity.
