In a new video clip, Cristiano dropped the big news by calling Georgina his “wife.” Like, omg.

Oh, they go waaay back. Dare we say it was love at first sight? 👀 They first crossed paths in 2016, when the footballer strolled into a Gucci store in Madrid. Who was working there as a sales assistant? You guessed it. None other than Georgina Rodriguez.
In an interview with El Hormiguero via the Daily Mail, the model admitted, “When I saw him, he was so handsome I felt embarrassed to look at him.” Stop, that’s so cute.
Cristiano and Georgina: When did they start dating?
They officially started dating back in 2017. They’ve come a long way. Georgina reminisced about the beginning of her relationship in her Netflix series I Am Georgina. She described it as a “very special start”.
She recalled the days he would come and pick her up from work with luxury cars. “Many times he’d come after work,” she said. “He would come, I remember once, once in a Bugatti. My coworkers went crazy. They get there on the bus, and I would leave in a Bugatti. I mean people couldn’t believe it.” She’s living the dream IRL.
Ronaldo said the cutest thing in the first episode: “I honestly didn’t think [the relationship] would get this intense. I didn’t expect to fall for her.” He added, “But after some time, I just knew she was the one for me.”

Ronaldo’s been pretty open about his future with Georgina. In an interview with Piers Morgan back in 2022, he said, “[Marriage is] something that’s not in my plans now, but in the future, I do want to. I can see in the future that I think I deserve it, she deserves it.”
No wedding pics or official announcements have surfaced since then, especially after their big move to KSA.

Dropping the news he said, “When I am not training at the club I like to work with my wife at home. Because I can push her and she can push me too.”
