Global pop group, Now United, founded by *the* Simon Fuller, continues to grow as another addition is added to the band. The 18th member is 15-year-old Alex Mandon Rey, hailing from Mallorca, Spain. He dances, he speaks Spanish, and he’s currently in the capital of the UAE prepping for NU’s virtual concert for ‘Now Love’ on 1 July. We’re already his number one fans.
After some internet research (read: internet stalking,) we’ve found out that not only is Alex very involved in the arts, but he’s also previously modeled for brands. From what we can tell after watching Now United’s vids, he’s already getting along well with the other NU members. How sweet!
We even had the chance to catch up with Alex and ask him a couple of questions (yep, we know, major !!!) So scroll down to read more, and keep your eyes peeled for our IGTV video of the talented dancer *insert eye emojis*.
Cosmo ME: What would you say to boys and girls your age who would like to pursue this career path?
Alex Mandon Rey: Firstly, it will not be easy, but if you have the passion and you work hard – you can do it. I am living my dream with Now United right now. Never give up on your dreams.
C: Who inspires you?
A: My biggest inspiration is my family. Since my childhood I have been deeply connected to the artistic and creative side of the world because of my family. I am very grateful for it.

A: Now United ofc!
C: What has been your favorite place to visit in the UAE?
A: We are in Abu Dhabi rn, and I love it. We’re here at The Louvre filming Now Love. I think this is my favourite place.
C: What’s the best thing about being in Now United and are you looking forward to appearing in your first concert with them on July 1st?
A: The best thing about being a part of Now United is that I’m doing something that I love – dancing. I’m super excited to be filming my first concert with them right now.
