Taylor Swift has dropped her new Folklore album this week, and has sold over 1.3million copies in just 24 hours, according to her label Republic Records. Not a bad day’s work we say! In just a day, Folklore has also become the most-streamed pop album on Apple Music and Taylor has broken the record for the biggest first-day album streams for a female artist. *insert clap emoji*

Plenty of celebrities have taken to social media (mainly Twitter as Taylor has comments turned off for her IG posts), to express their views on their album.

“I needed this @taylorswift13 album” tweeted Heidi Montag, whilst Lil Nas X replied to Taylor’s album reveal tweet with “let’s goooo!!!!! We can’t wait !”.

Martha Hunt tweeted “my whole 2020 aesthetic”, whilst Kesha tweeted ‘Hanging w Carl in my @taylorswift13 cardigan listening to the new record on repeat. All the feelings. Can’t stop listening. Masterpiece.”

Even Barbie herself got in on the swifty action commenting “We STAN” and the sparkle emoji. I mean you know you’ve made it when Barbie is commenting on your achievements!

According to People magazine, the song ‘Betty’ confirms the name of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ third daughter. Swifties were quick to notice this as the song included the names Betty, Inez and James, the latter two are the names of Blake and Ryan’s older daughters. As of yet, neither Blake or Ryan have commented on the claims.

There have also been suggestions that Taylor has chosen to release this album now to take attention away from Kanye, like he did to her allll those years ago at the VMAs. Oh internet…
