“In honor of Juneteenth,” writes Beyoncé, “everything I wore for RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR tonight was created exclusively by Black designers.”

We’re well aware of Bey’s commitment to honouring African American creators. Time and time again, the global superstar has proudly celebrated Black culture and highlighted its beauty across her music and art.

During the Amsterdam show of her Renaissance World Tour on June 18, the icon expressed her gratitude to her heritage by exclusively wearing pieces that were created by Black fashion designers. The world-renowned artist’s thoughtful gesture came in commemoration of Juneteenth, the U.S. federal holiday celebrating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in 1866.

Beyoncé graced Instagram in *eight* separate posts, each of which showcased a particular all-Black designer tour outfit from her electrifying show in Amsterdam. In her last post, the Break My Soul songstress explained the creative inspiration behind her wardrobe, expressing, “…I was so engulfed in all things RENAISSANCE and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie and the disco era.”

The Ivy Park fashion entrepreneur then announced that she was launching a brand-new swimwear collection, sharing, “I started designing this collection over a year ago. I wanted to do a modern twist using the signature IVY PARK neon and bring disco to the beach in this swim collection. I’m so happy to share this with you and even more proud to launch it for the first time on the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR. I’m proud to be among the very talented Black designers featured in last night’s show to celebrate Juneteenth.”

We need a moment to recover from queen Bey’s *big energy*. Not only is the star gracing our ears with her unparalleled musical talent, but the fashionista is also bringing disco to the ~beach~. This is the best summer ever (!!)

While we eagerly await the new swimwear collection, let’s dive into the dazzling ensembles with which she blessed us.
