On July 5, Kanye West announced on Twitter that he will be running for president.
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020vision,” he wrote.

The rapper did kinda forewarn us about this back in 2015 at the MTV Video Music Awards, where he said, “I’ve decided in 2020 to run for president.” Just, nach, we all took it as a joke…
Kim Kardashian supported him by retweeting with the American flag, and Elon Musk and Ty Dolla Sign were also amongst his supporters.
But not all celebs shared that same sentiment…
Not now, Kanye. Seriously. https://t.co/Rv7ktlNiTX

If Kanye is actually running for President (and not doing his usual trolling to promote a new album) then the REAL reason he's doing it is to split the Democratic vote, which would pull votes away from Biden in order to help Trump get elected. Grimy.

Everyone: 2020 can’t get any worse.
Kanye: hold my beer.

I think we should give Kanye West the AOL Free trial treatment if he gets in office. He gets 30 days, if he's doing well after the 30 we subscribe for another trial version, if he's messing up we can subscribe to another service
