Bella Poarch mentioned that the song resonated with her and made her feel empowered and stronger. Bella also mentioned that she was bullied growing up, sharing that she wants people who are going through the same thing to know that what other people think is not important.

Bella expressed, “I grew up being bullied and not really accepting who I was, so that song kind of made me feel some type of empowerment for me to put that out and write it. I want people to feel like they are not alone, and I want people to feel that you should always express yourself no matter what other people think.”

The song certainly sends a strong and empowering message: You don’t have to be perfect or change yourself for anyone else. This message of self-acceptance is evident in the lyrics of “Build a Bitch,” including:

I’m filled with flaws and attitude,
So if you need perfect, I’m not built for you.

Being our authentic selves, and that being enough, is the main message that singer Bella Poarch tried to communicate through this song.

The Gen Z sensation also talked about her recent collaboration with HUGO, which is very similar to her personal style and helps bring out her true self to the world.

“I wear a lot of edgy, dark clothes, especially in my music videos. With my collection with HUGO it was just very easy to explain to them what I wanted. I’m just so happy that we came together and put out this collection because it’s like my everyday style,” shares Bella Poarch.
