In news you didn’t expect (or want, let’s be honest), Kanye West’s bid to run for president in 2024 is looking less like a satirical announcement and more like he’s actually…still thinking about it.
Back in July, the rapper announced his plans to run for office, but as US Election Day draws ever nearer, many of the public – one of which being Jennifer Aniston – are becoming pretty vocal on the subject.
We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION

Jennifer shared a picture of herself heading out to vote, and in the length caption that accompanied her image, she wrote, “Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency. PS – It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.”
Never one to stay silent, Kanye clapped back, writing a now-deleted comment, “Friends was not funny either.” (Now, Kanye has said a lot of untrue BS in his time, but none has rung quite as untrue as this.)
US Election Day is taking place on 3 November, and Kanye is not running for president this year.
