Although (unfortunately) not everyone can win a golden man at the 92nd Academy Awards, it doesn’t mean that the celebs leave empty handed. Especially not the nominees.
It’s not news that the company Distinctive Assets hands out the coolest goodie bags every year for the Oscars. Last year, nominees got the choice of going on a boat tour down the Amazon or a trip to the Galapagos Islands – casual.
We’d opt for the Galapagos Islands (ngl.)
This year, ofc, the goodie bags were bigger and better than ever with $225,000 worth of swag, a.k.a. Dhs826,450. We repeat, Dhs826,450. That’s almost one million dirhams. One. Million.
Now if you’re asking yourself “what could possibly be in that goodie bag?!” for it to cost that much. We’ve gotchu. According to Forbes, this years “everyone wins” goodie bag included treats like a $78,000 cruise, a $20,000 one-year membership to a matchmaking service, and $30,000-worth of beauty treatments.
So even if you were a nominee for the following categories: Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress – and didn’t win, there isn’t much to be disappointed about.
