After Kim Kardashian unveiled the unlikely name she’s got in mind for baby number four, Kourtney Kardashian revealed she almost called son Reign something entirely different.
The sisters appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week alongside Khloe Kardashian, and ended up discussing the inspiration behind their children’s names.
Â
Kourtney, who is mum to Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4, revealed her ex-boyfriend and co-parent Scott Disick wanted to name their youngest son a completely different name, and the pair couldn’t agree.
“I was like, ‘I know in my soul his name is Reign,’ and Scott didn’t believe me,” she commented. “And I was like, ‘No. I know his name is Reign.’ And he’s like, ‘His name is Preston.’ So I was like, ‘Fine. Let’s call him Preston for a day.’ And it didn’t work out.”
Is ‘it didn’t work out’ Kourt’s way of subtly commenting that she won the argument? Amazing.
Kim then went on to touch on the fourth child she and husband Kanye West are currently expecting via surrogate, throwing some unlikely name ideas into the mix.
“I was Googling Armenian boys’ names last night, and I couldn’t really find anything….I was truthfully thinking about just naming him Rob, after my brother, Rob.
“But then it’s kind of like, North, Saint, Chicago, Rob. It doesn’t really go, but I was really feeling that. And my brother approved it, so that’s like our one kind of name.”
It’s the thought that counts, right?
