The tattoo-filled love of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson seems to be fading fast; not only are the tattoos getting covered up, but Ari and Pete are also now very publicly going after each other.
On Thursday, SNL released a promo clip with Pete joking about his quick engagement to Ariana by saying to musical guest Maggie Rogers, “Hey Maggie, I’m Pete. You wanna get married?”

Ariana was NOT pleased, and went on a bit of a Twitter rampage, posting things like “hell nah tho,” “thank you, next,” and “for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh.” Yikes!
And it seems like Ariana is still not over it, because she just referenced their tiff in her Instagram stories. She got a balloon from a friend that said “Thank You!” which she obv posted:
But she then decided to make her gratitude balloon into a culturally-relevant balloon when she posted another pic of it, this time making it say “Thank You! next.”
And if you’ve been paying attention for the last five sentences, you’ll recall that “thank you, next” were the exact words that Ari used to dismiss/slam Pete and his jokes about their engagement.
Ari also posted a bunch of “thank you, next” content on Twitter this past weekend, so it seems like she would really rather not with Pete/Pete’s too soon jokes about their engagement. Seems fair!
