As far as celebrity mother-daughter lookalikes go, it doesn’t get better than Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe. The Legally Blonde actress’ 17 year-old daughter has been showing a likeness to her mum for a few years now, but as she approaches adulthood the pair could basically be twins, and it’s kind of adorable.
Reese uploaded a selfie of she and Ava, her daughter from her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe (still not over it), to celebrate the new year with her followers. She captioned the picture “Me and my girl  #Happy2017” and it’s uncanny how much the two look alike.
Reese often shares pictures with Ava, and her followers are always quick to comment on how much the pair look alike – with many also noting that she’s the spitting image of dad Ryan too. We looked closely, and they’re so right – Ava is totally some kind of mother-daughter clone. But while Ryan (who HAS an Instagram! It’s right here!) keeps his pictures a little more work-related, Reese often uploads mother-daughter shots that prove the pair look more like sisters, despite the 23-year age-gap.
And it’s not just selfies – even without the filter, these two are so similar it’s scary.
