When it comes to celebrities, it’s fair to say some people might look into their social media activity a little too much and jump to some absolutely wild conclusions. In the case of Pattie Mallette—Justin Bieber’s mum—however, Beliebers may very well be onto something.

For as long we can remember, Pattie had “yes Justin Bieber is my son” in her Twitter bio. Right after his engagement to Hailey Baldwin, she axed it. Very suss.

Just as speculation was at its most rampant, Pattie tweeted: “If you don’t have something nice to say…”

Nothing nice to say, about the engagement? That she hasn’t commented on yet? IS IT?!

And that’s not all—Mama Biebs has been liking tweets shading rushed engagements, albeit not Justin and Hailey’s specifically.

Former US Bachelor Sean Lowe was having a crack at contestants on The Bachelor typically proposing after a short amount of time together.

And who liked it? Pattie Mallette.

Some fans are saying it’s not like that, but compared to her other likes on Twitter—almost exclusively about religion—it does stick out quite a bit.

Interesting.

We do know that she loves ex Selena, telling PEOPLE late last year she was “really proud of him”.

“I don’t know so much about their personal relationship because he doesn’t share a whole lot, but I love her,” she said.

“I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious. I can’t really speak on their relationship, that’s between them.”
