Dubai has officially been ranked as the best destination in the world for digital nomads.
New research by Instant Offices revealed the UAE city to rank highest in a list of 62 nomad-loved destinations. It’s no secret that Dubai draws in a huge crowd of expats. The city is a huge international business hub with a work-play lifestyle that makes up the core of the nomadic experience. With the UAE’s special one-year Virtual Work Residency Visa, Dubai has become a very attractive and convenient destination for remote workers alike.
According to this new research, the appeal of Dubai extends far beyond the sunshine (all 3,500 hours per year of it). There are also over 23,000 wi-fi hotspots throughout the city, with an average broadband speed of 230mbps, which is much higher than that of other nomad hubs like Bali, Indonesia.
Oh, and Dubai has work-friendly cafes aplenty. Whether you’re looking for an aesthetic spot to elevate your workday, or a quiet space to enhance your focus, there are plenty of happening places in Dubai to cater to every type of worker.
