COSMO ME: Could you share the origin of your artistic name, “TheeNourah”?

TheeeNourah: I go by TheeeNourah, a multidisciplinary artist and creative storyteller based in Doha, Qatar. My identity as TheeeNourah represents more than a name, it’s a creative persona that fuses Middle Eastern heritage, feminine strength, and contemporary digital expression. Academically, my background lies at the crossroads of art, science, and technology, which shaped how I approach creative innovation. I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection between human emotion and digital systems; how ideas can move fluidly between traditional mediums and artificial intelligence. This blend of analytical and artistic study deeply informs my work, allowing me to merge cultural storytelling with emerging technologies in a way that feels both grounded and forward looking.

COSMO ME: How has your heritage shaped your perspective as an AI artist?

TheeeNourah: I’m from the MENA region, and my heritage is the soul of my artistic vision. Growing up in a culture layered with poetry, architecture, textiles, and storytelling traditions, I’ve always seen art as a form of memory. The region’s balance between ancient wisdom and modern ambition have shaped how I approach technology, not as something foreign, but as a new language to tell old stories. It allows me to reimagine our collective identity through a modern, emotional lens.

COSMO ME: What drew you to experiment with AI art?

TheeeNourah: I was captivated by the idea of teaching machines to dream in our language visually, emotionally, and culturally. AI offered me a new medium where art and code could coexist. It allowed me to merge regional motifs with futuristic aesthetics to make the unseen visible, the traditional timeless, and the digital deeply human. For me, AI is not about replacing the artist, it’s about expanding imagination beyond what the human hand alone can do.

COSMO ME: How has your identity influenced the themes, subjects, or styles in your AI artwork?

TheeeNourah: My work often reflects the duality of the Middle East: ancient and modern, soft and strong, spiritual and ambitious. I explore motifs like desert landscapes, calligraphy, Sadu patterns, traditional gold jewellery, and architectural geometry through futuristic or editorial visual languages. Whether I’m portraying a Bedouin woman in maroon light or a cosmic reinterpretation of regional craft, my art remains a dialogue between heritage and modernity, between memory and innovation.

COSMO ME: How has the Qatari art scene shaped your opportunities and visibility as an AI artist?

TheeeNourah: The MENA art scene is entering a bold new phase where digital and cultural innovation are finally meeting. There’s a growing openness to AI and experimental storytelling from Qatar to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Lebanon, and beyond. Institutions and platforms are beginning to recognise that technology can serve culture, not erase it. This has given artists like me the space to contribute to a new regional narrative, one where our identity drives the algorithm, not the other way around.

COSMO ME: What are you most proud of as an artist?

TheeeNourah: I’m proud to represent a new voice for Middle Eastern digital art one that honours our shared cultural memory while embracing tomorrow. My biggest pride isn’t just exhibitions or collaborations; it’s when people across the world feel the essence of our region through my work its dignity, beauty, and mystery without me having to explain a single word.

COSMO ME: Any upcoming projects you are excited about?

TheeeNourah: I’m always exploring new ways to merge creativity, technology, and culture. What excites me most right now is the evolution of digital art itself the endless possibilities that come when imagination meets innovation. I’m drawn to projects that push boundaries, question perceptions, and celebrate the emotional depth of our region’s heritage through a contemporary lens.

COSMO ME: What advice would you have for young artists (particularly from the Middle East) who would like to delve into AI Artwork?

TheeeNourah: Be fearless, but grounded. AI should learn from your culture, not the other way around. Let your prompts carry your voice, your language, your grandmother’s stories, your land’s colours. Don’t create to mimic trends create to document your era. The future of AI art in the Middle East belongs to those who use technology to protect and reimagine their heritage with elegance, courage, and truth.
