If you’re currently in your last year of university and are looking for a post-summer internship to get you on the job ladder, then listen up… The Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has partnered with Emirates Foundation, and is looking for young students from Saudi to volunteer for the duration of the Expo, from October 2020 April 2021.
Students can apply for the internship through an exclusive digital platform. Successful applications will receive intensive training for specific positions based on their skill sets and subsequently be given an award at a graduation ceremony on completion. The Expo is also striving for gender-balanced internship, and will be taking on a ratio of 50:50 females to males.
“We are delighted to launch this campaign which is designed to attract a wide variety of ambitious young Saudis talent,” said Dr. Fahad bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Yabis, Commission General and Project Manager for the Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. “The campaign will help us to identify and nurture the finest young talents that Saudi Arabia has to offer.”
”Our program provides these students with the opportunity of a lifetime to act as ambassadors for our country on a global stage. Take on diverse volunteering roles at Expo 2020 and gain unrivalled hands-on experience,” Mrs. Thurya Al-Badran, Head of Visitor Services and Head of the Volunteering Program at the Saudi Arabia Pavilion added.
