There’s nothing as wonderful as having a quiet day and a fascinating book to keep you company. I love non-fiction books. First of all, you learn so many hands-on tips that you can apply in your daily life. That’s really cool.

I also love the wow moments when I gain a different perspective on a particlular topic. You know, the aha moments that make you go “I never thought of it that way”.

My fav category is reading on girl bosses that are doing amazing things, and I have compiled a list of some of the best.

Without further ado, let’s get into it.

1. Girl Boss for Dhs55 on amazon

I know this one came out a while back, so if you haven’t had a read, you need to get it. The Netflix series doesn’t do the book justice. Sorry! In the book you will find more detailed information on stuff like nailing a job interview, running a business, saving money, how to go about business investments and so much more.

2. How to Be a Bawse for Dhs70 on amazon

I love superwoman and when this got out I had to get my hands on it. It was definitely worth it! The includes tips on how to gain confidence, owning your pain and so much more. The best part is that it is written in such a bold and funny way. Get ready to crack your ribs to the top girl.

3. Becoming Michelle Obama for Dhs86.25 on amazon

I couldn’t put this down when I first got it. It made me see another side to a woman I perceived as strong (in a somewhat mythical way) in a such a vulnerable and relatable way. In the book you get to dive into an extraordinary journey of what it took for this woman to be the Michelle Obama we know today.

4. Lean in for Dhs59 on Virgin Mega Store

Empowering is one word to describe this book.  It captures equality for women in the workplace in such as refreshing way. From knowing your worth to asking for a promotion/raise, these pile of pages are my ultimate career bible.

5. Last Black Unicorn for Dhs69 from Virgin Mega Store

Tiffany Hardish is my daily dose of happiness. Her energy and positivity are off the roof. In her best seller, she touches on real life problems like bullying, which she encountered herself. Get inspired by this unicorn on how she bounces back when she gets pulled down by life and haters. Disclamer, this will make you cry and laugh at the same time.

You will love these even if you are not a bookworm.
