When we think of Billie Eilish, we picture this goth, edgy teenager, with a unique style, AND bad guy vibes (duh).
So, it came as a huge surprise to see her rocking a flowy wedding-gown-like dress in her recent photoshoot with V Magazine. In honour of the mag’s 20th anniversary, V Magazine’s latest issue featured Billie as their cover star, and boy oh boy are we shocked to see the 17-year old looking like a literal goddess.
Instead of her usual baggy tracksuit get-up, we see Billie as a flowy-haired bride with a bouquet of lilies in her hand. Seventeen pointed out that the hitmaker aimed to dress as a Victorian-era bride.
Alex White, the editor and fashion stylist of the shoot revealed that Billie was actually sporting a Gucci cape, top, and pants along with a Bulgari necklace and a Tiffany & Co. ring. Can we talk about how well she pulled this look off? We stan.

| | When V was born, Y2K’s wave was cresting. 20 years of memorable stories later, we find ourselves at the onset of a new era; one the mystical @billieeilish is weathering with talent and wisdom beyond her years. The 17-year-old has illuminated a bright path for future generations to be their unequivocal selves. Refusing to alter her artistic vision or compromise the integrity of her craft, she embodies the very spirit that has made V the cultural force that it is, and is thus the perfect cover human for our September issue. Of course, a dream like this would not have come true without the artistic vision and depth of @inezandvinoodh paired with the inspiring @pharrell. — Tap the link in bio to read our interview with pop’s most powerful phenomenon, and pre-order the issue now via our Shopify site. — Photography: @inezandvinoodh Fashion: @alexwhiteedits Interview: @pharrell Text: @mathiasrosenzweig Hair: @jamespecis Makeup: @fulviafarolfi Set Design: @marlaweinhoff Casting: @itboygregk — Billie wears cape, top, pants @gucci, necklace (worn as headpiece) @bulgariofficial, ring @tiffanyandco — #V

The other pics from the shoot are equally stunning as well, even though we see Billie rocking her usual aesthetic with a pair of sick skull glasses and a long black wig that would looked like it came from the set for The Ring (in a good way).

The Bad Guy hitmaker also talked about her rising success in an accompanying interview with Pharrell, revealing that some excecutives didn’t take her seriously when she first started out. Obviously, she proved them wrong.
She said: “I remember the first time I had any sort of meeting with a label or management, I was 13. I think the only people that didn’t look at me like I was going to have a horrible career were the people that I ended up working with,”
“Everyone was just like, ‘Oh, you’re 13, yikes, you’re going to be used,’ and this and that. And I am like, ‘Yo, y’all are the people that would use me in the situation you are talking about.’ So, I don’t know what that is supposed to mean.”
Those people are probably having so many life regrets right now.
