We have the perfect Monday morning news to get your blood pumping. Ladies, get excited because SEPHORiA is returning to Dubai for another year. Let’s just say that Christmas is coming a little earlier this year (okay, a whole month earlier) because SEPHORiA is back for round two.
If you were watching Sephora Middle East’s Insta over the weekend, you’ll know they were teasing that something big was coming. We had our freshly mani’d fingers crossed that the immersive beauty festival would return to Dubai and now it looks like it’s shaping up to be bigger, better, and glossier than ever.
Last year we saw celeb makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic (yes, Makeup by Mario himself) and Hollywood hairstylist Chris Appleton make guest appearances. Dubai’s leading international celebrity hair artist, Maggie Semaan, wowed crowds with her Kerastase masterclass.
Carrie Gross of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare schooled us on glow-boosting routines and Mona Kattan of Kayali spilled fragrance secrets straight from her diamond-shaped bottles.
We went wild with hands-on with activations from our fave brands, including Huda Beauty, Tarte Cosmetics, Sol de Janeiro, Color Wow, Rare Beauty, Drunk Elephant, and Dyson.
There was so much to do between interactive beauty games, live haircare, skincare, and makeup demos, and managing the armfuls of samples. We played, we won, and went home with swag on top of swag. Tbh, our bathroom shelves still haven’t recovered.
Ticket-wise, there was something at SEPHORiA to match everyone’s budget and we’re hoping they do the same this year. Sephora served us with three tiers:
- VIP Platinum (Dhs600) – early access, masterclasses, an exclusive VIP party, plus a swag bag valued up to Dhs4,000.
- VIP (Dhs500) – all access to masterclasses and activations, minus the party, with luxe swag still in the bag.
- General Admission (Dhs250) – entry to the playground plus a goodie bag worth ~Dhs1,500.
For 2025, we’re expecting even more immersive activations, celeb meet-and-greets, exclusive product drops, and TikTok-worthy setups that’ll flood your FYP for weeks. And yes, we predict the swag bags will once again be chef’s kiss.
