It’s no surprise when you hear that Huda Beauty has bagged the award for most in-demand beauty brand of 2020. Huda Beauty has been stepping up to the plate to meet demands, and the brand came even harder in 2020 with the launch of some of the best beauty products 2020 has seen (and we’re not even talking about Wishful Skin)
According to calculations by The Cosmetify Index, the brand founded by US-Iraqi makeup artist, Huda Kattan bagged this year’s position, followed by Kylie Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, The Body Shop, amongst others.
From the latest Haze Obsessions eyeshadow palettes to the Coco Hydrating Mist, to the undefeated mascara, the Dubai-based brand has literally been coming for our edges. The roundup is said to be based on the brand’s engagement on social media, search volume, hashtag, and followers – if you’ve seen Huda’s promo pictures, it’ll all makes sense to you.
Cosmo ME caught up with the entrepreneur this year to celebrate 10 years of being in the beauty industry. Reflecting on her journey, the Wishful Skin founder said, “I just let the process flow and my audience organically grew like crazy. When I started the blog, I had no idea I’d be where I am today, but I am so grateful. It really started with people and the community and that is still the backbone of our brand.”
Congrats to the Huda Beauty on this success – a true testament that the devil works hard, but Huda Kattan works harder.
