Are we actually suggesting you roll a little device containing more needles than brunches in Dubai all over your face? Um, yeah. We totally are. Dermarollers seemed to have popped up outta nowhere and are causing some major #heatwaves. Kinda like the start of the Dubai summer.

We heart them because they *painlessly* create little channels in our skin that allow serums and products to penetrate super deep. They even out skin texture and reduce pore size, too. When used properly, they’re an ah-mazing addition to a nighttime routine and offer noticeable skin improvements immediately. With continual use, it’s just gonna get better and better. #skinwin

To stay in the green and live your best dermarolling life, it’s *super* important to use a roller with the right-sized needles. Dermarolling expert Aneta (@aneta.skinspecialist), from BodySmart, recommends using between 0.1 and 0.25mm. Nothing larger than that! If you can easily see the needles with your *ahem* naked eye, then ghost it.

Always use your dermaroller on freshly cleansed skin. Serum can be applied before or after, that’s up to you. Roll the device up, down, back, and forth all over your face for five minutes. Afterwards, sanitize the dermaroller as if your life depended on it. We like to use an isopropyl alcohol spray and let it air-dry overnight.

Rules to live by:

– If you drop the roller, bin it. Plz don’t roll broken or damaged needles on your skin.
– No sharing allowed! Your roller is for you and you alone.
– Don’t use it on areas of skin with breakouts, acne, or infections.
– Invest in a quality roller. They will last 18-24 months. Cheap dermarollers have no place in your life. They can damage your skin and some only last for 10 uses. #whyjustwhy
Want to take it a step further? Try microneedling facials once every 6-8 weeks and then supplement with the dermarolling at home.
