DIMPLE CREATION 

Love Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s dimples? Want some, too? Sure – but you wouldn’t go under the knife for them, would you? Some people would, which is why there’s been a huge rise in dimpleplasty surgery in the past few years. 

If you have a weak stomach look away, but if not read on! 

The surgery involves punching holes into the cheeks where the client wants the dimples placed, then once the whole has been created, it’s stitched into place. Say cheese! 

INTERNAL BRA SURGERY 

Ditching your bras sounds great – but not good enough to warrant this procedure that involves implanting a bra underneath your skin, right?!

The new-age breast enhancement claims to provide patients with firm, perky breasts that won’t sag. And while it’s invisible once complete, it involves a 45-minute operation during which surgeons implant ‘silicone slings’ underneath breast tissue, which are attached to the rib cage by fine silk straps and titanium screws. 

Perhaps a bra doesn’t sound so bad after all…

FOOT LIPO

Ever tried on a pair of strappy shoes and the straps have dug in, giving you over-spill? A bit like a foot muffin-top?

Kim K has – and to fix it, she is reported to have had ‘toebesity’ liposuction on her feet so she could squeeze into the tightest, pointiest heels for her wedding. 

The procedure, nicknamed the ‘Loub job’ in honour of the infamous red-heeled shoes, sucks tiny bits of fat out from around the top of the big toes. Ew! 

IRIS COLOUR CHANGE

It’s a grass-is-greener scenario – you’ve got green eyes and wish you had rich brown, or you’ve got hazel and wish you had baby blues. 

And now people are going to extreme lenghts to get the shade of their dreams without the use of coloured contacts. The procedure, called artificial iris implant, involves inserting a thin, medical grade sillicone implant into the eye to alter the appeareance of the iris. Knowing this, we can’t help but wonder if some our fave A-list eyes might’ve had a bit of help to look so vibrant… 

THIGH GAP CREATION

Having a thigh gap used to be a sign of malnutrition – but thanks to today’s size zero craze, it’s now a seriously questionable statement.

But because we can’t all achieve naturally, enter the Zerona Cold Laser device, which spot targets the upper inner thighs, using lasers to ‘poke’ holes in the walls of fat cells, causing them to collapse.

You need at least six sessions, which will set you back over Dhs7,500.
