Have you heard? SZA will no longer be performing in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

The American singer-songwriter was set to headline Yas Island’s Wireless Festival on Saturday 23rd.

Instagram accounts @Wirelessfestme, @Abudhabievents, @Ticketmasterme, @Livenationme and @VirginradiodxbSZA shared a joint post to share the news.

It reads: “SZA will no longer be performing at Wireless Festival Middle East.

“We are excited to announce your new headliner, Playboi Carti, who will be supported by the Opium collective Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang.

“FULL LINEUP 🔥Playboi Carti with Opium (Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang),
21 Savage, Yeat, Karan Aujla, Fridayy, Flo Milli, Afroto, Lancey Foux, Seedhe Maut, Raf Saperra, Faris Shafi, Dina Ayada, Mazen and Stick No Bills.”

Seeing as SZA was a big drawer for the Gen Z girlies, many ticketholders now want out.

One typed under the post: “bruh I wanted SZA 😭😭” while others joined in: “Bring sza now” and “This is not ok.”

Others are also asking about refunds with messages such as: “Do you do refunds?”.

And if you are in the same boat – you may too be asking if you can get your cash back.

Sadly, according to the Wireless Middle East website, you can’t get a refund.

In the FAQ section, it explains: “No refunds will be issued for this event regardless of possible event line-up changes – all ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable, and are for your personal use only. We can confiscate a ticket from you if you resell it or attempt to resell it.”

So, yep as you can’t resell or get a refund. So, unless you want to loose out on what you paid , you’ll still have to go this weekend.

If you still want tickets there are some available for Dhs345 online.
