The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) took to their Twitter account to share a series of tweets in relation to COVID-19 talks during a media briefing.
They stated the possibility of restrictions and rules being placed on individuals who have chosen not to get vaccinated such as restricting their access to services and their movements.
#NCEMA: Strict measures are being considered to restrict the movement of unvaccinated individuals and to implement preventive measures such as restricting entry to some places and having access to some services, to ensure the health and safety of everyone.#TogetherWeRecover

For individuals with medical conditions, they have asked that an appointment should be booked with a specialist in order to determine whether it is safe and possible to receive the vaccine.
The NCEMA urged individuals to be responsible and support the government in their efforts to return to a normal world.
#NCEMA: We are all responsible towards society and have a role in preserving its health and safety and supporting all national efforts to move towards recovery and to return to normal life and regular activities.#TogetherWeRecover

A total of 9.5 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the UAE so far, with over 70% of them being administered to elderly people over the age of 60.
