So Wikipedia came up with a new campaign to celebrate the beauty of UAE! They flagged a post right on their website.

For all the young paps (paparazzi), get your cameras out and start snapping because the best entries will be showcased in an exhibition during June 2018. However, there are a few things you need to keep in mind, apart from creating an account on Wikipedia for your submisisons. 

What kind of photographs is Wiki looking for?

Pictures that document historical buildings, ancient monuments such as castles and forts, archaeological sites, archaeological artifacts and traditional cuisine. Outfits and crafts are also most welcome. Also, if you’re more of an out-in-the-open person, pictures featuring street life are accepted, for instance the beautiful local souks.

What not to submit

Pictures of contemporary artworks, sculptures, and modern buildings (such as skyscrapers), will not be accepted because of copyright protection. So for those of you who love the modern, it’s time to get a lil more experimental and touch something traditional.

Cause this campaign only lasts till April 2018.
