New York Times best-selling author Mandy Hale AKA ‘The Single Woman’ said, “There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.” And that’s exactly what some people are doing with their insta posts and we can’t stop looking.

Instagram knows its global impact and is encouraging people to spread what is, according to us, their best ever movement;  #CoolToBeKind which is all about spreading good vibes within local communities.

All you have to do to join the kindness train, is post a picture of someone who has inspired you to be a better person, then tag your friends. Ask them to do the same and don’t forget to add #CoolToBeKind

Cosmo loves the following #Cooltobekind shots and we want you to do the same, don’t forget to tag us!

On this #InternationalDayofHappiness I would love to spread the love and share a true story of kindness, one from my home and one from my #littlehero My 9year old son, Abhishek is the owner of a large heart and on many occasions managed to draw my attention to kindness lived out loud! As a 4 year old little boy, when I was driving him to school he noticed construction workers resting on a grass patch. Instantly he screamed “mom stop the car and get me out of the car seat”. Following this he ran with his little lunch pack of yogurt and apple and handed it out to them to have a snack. He had learned the lesson at home to be considerate to the less fortunate and this was him putting it into action in less than a week after his learning. On another occasion, when he was 8, we were queuing up to pay at the cashiers when my little man had the cravings for cup corn..so i hand him 20AED and stated "i am unable to leave the line, the corn kiosk is right in front, i will be watching you from here, go get one for yourself and head right back here. it's 12 AED, make sure to get the change". We get to the car with the groceries and i ask him, did you get the change?.He replied "No, mom..i asked the lady to keep the change"..I enquired what made him think of that idea? "Mom the kiosk was empty, she was so kind to me and i asked her if she has many people buying, she tells me i am the first one, she looked like she really needed some money for her family so i asked her to keep the change. Mumma, she also told me no one has ever asked her to keep the change and she blessed me. My lil hero who plants kindness in his own little way will one day reap a garden of much fruits. If you choose to share this video, that would be awesome, if not choose to tag 3 friends who will relate to this #CoolToBeKind . . . @instagram #instagrammiddleeast @mydubai @dubaitourism #mydubai #happydubai #happinessdubai

It’s #internationalhappinessday today. So, this morning, I thought about happiness (which is the whole point of celebrating international happiness day, I guess). Am I happy? And I mean not simply because I should be happy. Not simply because I am blessed. Because I am one of the lucky few on this earth. Who has everything. Food. A house. Access to education. A healthy family. A loving husband. And, on top of all, even a bit of luxury. Am I happy? Genuinely happy I mean? . . See, the honest answer to this question is ‘No, not always. Not every day’. While I am deeply grateful for what I have. While I know that I am lucky. Where I am standing in life. The honest answers is, I am on a constant quest for happiness. There are days when I can grasp it. Touch it. Feel it. But there are many days when I can’t. . . I was born with a poet’s soul. A heart that is always searching. Restless. Never holding still… (continue in next post) . . . . . . . . (Continued from previous post) Let me tell you something about my grandma today. Because I think a lot about her at the moment. Because we are afraid to lose her these days… . . My grandma is 96. She is still actively involved in our first family business. And when I say actively involved I mean her brain probably works better that mine or my parents’ brain ever has. Or will . . I admire her for that. And often wonder how she is doing it. Whenever I ask her, she would reply ‘The one thing you have to learn in life is to be content. To accept what life is giving you. And to make the most of it. To keep yourself busy. To take one step forward. Every single day.’ . . And I think this is the key to happiness. And probably the reason why my grandma is who she is today. . . Never compare yourself to others. Accept what life is giving you. There is potential in everything. And than work. Work hard every day. Keep yourself busy. Invest your time in something you love. Don’t waste your time. . . I am the happiest when I keep myself busy. When I am with the kids. And I mean really with them. When I work on a project. When I write. When I cook. When I am active. It is when I start thinking too much that my restless heart takes over. Finds reasons not to be happy. Compares my life with the life of others. Brings me down. . . It’s #internationalhappinessday today. Are you happy? Why? Or why not? Think about it . . . . . . . #happiness #thehappynow #internationalhappinessday2018 #happinessjourneyuae #honestmotherhood #honestmum #motherhoodrising #dubaimums #dubaimoms #dubaikids #uaemombloggers #ourbigdubaiadventure #mumoftwo #thatsdarling #mylittleloves #childhoodunplugged #motherhoodunplugged #cooltobekind
