On World Emoji Day (yes, a thing), Apple released a brand new set of 56 emojis, and there is finally a woman wearing a hijab included. Hurrah!Â

The new emojis will be available on Apple devices later this year, and according to Apple, “[They] make it easier for users to express themselves with greater diversity, additional animals and creatures, new smiley faces and more.”Â

According to CNN, the emoji was proposed by a 16-year-old Saudi girl, Rayouf Alhumedhi, who told them, “I’m really happy with what it looks like.” Adding of the idea behind the emoji, “My friends and I were creating a group chat on WhatsApp, and I obviously had no emoji to represent me… The fact that there wasn’t an emoji to represent me and the millions of other hijabi women across the world was baffling to me.”
Other emojis in the new selection include a meditating man and breastfeeding woman…Â

As well as a zombie and a T-rex…Â

Plus, people are happy to see that there are*finally* mind-blown and starry-eyed faces, as well as a sick emoji, for when you can’t put into words how you’re feeling on a Saturday morning…Â
