Netflix has just launched their very first Ramadan campaign, and it’s all about women! 

 

“During Ramadan, Netflix is celebrating women across the region with a month-long social media campaign that showcases the talented women across the gulf by linking them to their corresponding favorite female characters who inspire them, highlighting the leading role females in a number of Netflix shows and movies,” Netflix have said of the video.

“From the likes of Queen Elizabeth II, who proves you can balance family life with one of the most important jobs in the country, to Lorelai in Gilmore Girls whose strength of character shines through in every single episode,” they add. “These women are breaking barriers and perceptions with their rich and complex backgrounds in almost every episode.”

The women involved are all influencers, check out their Instas here: Amy Roko, Tima Shomali, Alaa Balkhy, Hatoon Kadi and Maha Jaafar.
