We all know that Dubai is constantly changing. There’s a new building or road or news of a new building or road, almost everyday. Over the past 40 years, the Emirate has transformed into a glorious urban jungle packed with record-breaking landmarks, fabulous food and sights. A Closer Look at the Images:
Dubai with no roads or infrastructure. Cars were a rarity and drivers had to watch out for camels freely crossing the roads. How things have changed now!
You can see the beginnings of the Palm in this fabulous image. The Jebel Ali Free Zone opened in 1979 and roads started emerging to connect Dubai. The future was just beginning to shape up!
