Last night there was a major power outage at The Dubai Mall. So naturally, as the 5.9 million square feet mall went dark for around 90 minutes, UAE residents and visitors took to Twitter to have a good joke about it. Astoundingly, the blackout didn’t affect the most dedicated of shoppers, who diligently continued their spree in the dark. As for the foodies? Well, they just hoped for ice cream discounts…Â
