February is the month of love you guys, and that includes those of you who voluntary pick up and put down heavy stuff and run for miles without being chased. Dubai is hosting 70 events this month, including 20 international championships that will bring the world’s top tennis players and the superstars of international cycling, among others, to the city.

All fitness levels are covered, whether you’re into Ironman, taking place on 7 February or are keen to warm up for Wimbledon with the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship which will take place from 17 – 29 February. Finally, the UAE Tour, the World Tour cycling race in the Middle East that will showcase all seven emirates of the UAE from 23 – 29 February.
That’s not all for cycling lovers… The Al Salam Cycling Championship will take place on 13 February and a brand new international mountain bike event will make its debut. The Hero Dubai Desert Fascination, which is a part of the Hero World Series, will take place in the hills of Hatta on 7 February. The Dubai Women’s Tour, a UCI Women’s Elite Tour event, will also make its first appearance, with riders covering 392km across four stages from 17 – 20 February.
For something a bit different this Valentine’s Day, fitness enthusiasts can celebrate in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, get their highs in the region’s most adrenaline-fuelled and exhilarating obstacle course race, the Dubai Desert Warrior Challenge.
This month will also see more than 1,000 sports enthusiasts from the corporate world compete for honours in 23 different sports across two days in the 2nd Corporate Sports Championship Dubai from 27 – 29 February.
